We offer some pre-bookable appointments, others are available to be booked on the day of the appointment. Urgent appointments are always offered on the same day.

Should you no longer require your appointment please telephone the receptionist to cancel. We have fewer missed appointments when patients book on the day as the appointment is not forgotten.

If the receptionist is unable to give you an appointment she will ask the doctor to telephone you during the day. Please ensure the surgery has a correct contact number. It would be helpful to the doctor if you could indicate the nature of your problem to the receptionist.

Please request home visits by 11am, if possible, so that the doctors can plan their day. It would be helpful if you could indicate the nature of the problem, so that urgent cases are given priority. A doctor will telephone the patient to determine whether a visit is necessary. Visits are organised according to geographical area, so you may not see the doctor you requested.

It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.

You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.

We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.

To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
